The Product Manager operates independently, leads full business planning and product development roadmap in collaboration with key internal business leadership for one or more product groups. Accountable for running the financials and financial assumptions for assigned product categories to maximize revenue/operating income.

Job Responsibilities:

• Establishes strategic direction for assigned product categories by developing 3-5 year Business Plans; drives the Product Road Map for New Product Development activities cross functionally.
• Develops and implements strategies for product development which supports the Product Road Map, including identifying, evaluating, recommending, and implementing new products for existing and new markets
• Clearly communicates product design direction including feature and performance expectations as well as timing requirements and supports market research as required.
• Accountable for product lifecycle management, product development, product requirements, pricing, promotional activities, and launch planning
• Accountable for running the financials and financial assumptions for assigned product categories to maximize revenue/operating income
• Current on competitive intelligence & owns pricing strategies.
• Interfaces heavily with Sales including participation in customer shows and visits
• Prepares business cases for projects and submits information into workfront.
• Develops and communicates product definitions covering feature and performance expectations to key stakeholders.
• Leads organizational competitive intelligence efforts

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business management, or related studies is required; MBA preferred
• 5+ years experience in Product Development
• Prior experience in leading product development initiatives
• Prior budget experience preferred
