With roots in treatment foster care going back over 35 years, today FFTA has nearly 500 member organizations, from 47 states and multiple provinces in Canada, delivering a full array of services to families across formal and informal mental health and child welfare systems. About the Opportunity
As part of a small, yet impactful, remote team you’ll shape many aspects of our work and the important work of our members. Team members are highly engaged in the mission-driven work of the association, often beyond your immediate scope of responsibilities. Together, we will recognize a shared vision of more communities in which those who support families feel supported and all are thriving. You will be a visionary leader, championing and advancing proven solutions in the human services sector, which will aid organizations in their important work of supporting families from all backgrounds. As a dynamic and innovative leader, you will have the opportunity to identify trends, address sector challenges, and drive program innovations aligned with FFTA’s mission and strategic goals.

Requirements
We believe the following would best prepare you to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in social or human services, behavioral health, health, non-profit leadership, or business.
- 10 years of experience in at least one of the program or service areas outlined in this description in either public or private child and family service systems.
- Significant experience creating and delivering professional development content, such as in-person or virtual trainings and experience in research, evaluation or assessment of programs/projects.
